Gem Silica, Inspiration mine, 18.09ct…

    This is an interesting gem silica in that there is a total absence of the green, malachite material within this stone. The color is intense blue chrysocolla floating within the chalcedony & one can see thru the stone when backlighted or just held towards a light source, a very good example of this material. The stone was cut by Frank Schaffer of Pa. & the finish is excellent-steve…

    Looks great Steve, very nice, you could almost mistake the back of it for Larimar.
    If you have some lying around in your back yard let me know I would be keen on getting hold of a piece.
