"I like this sheers a lot! They work well cutting sterling silver sheet for jewelry making. Be careful when cutting metal. This sheer is strong enough to cut your skin." read more

"As a student of jewelry casting and silversmithing, I found these sheers to be extremely helpful for trimming silver sheet and general small silver cutting jobs where a saw would be more cumbersome and time consuming. These sheers are quite sharp and nimble with their curved cutting blade. I find these to be a very good value for the price and I anticipate that they are sturdy enough to last for a long time. I appreciate the value here as obtaining a wide range of silversmith tools and supplies can become very costly." read more

"When I need it, this tool is working out very well for me. I don't make jewelry full time. If I did, I would have spent a little more money and bought the French shears with a spring in the handle." read more

"This works fantastic on my thinner/lighter gauge or soft metals- much better than my metal saw does. However, the biggest issue with metal shears is that you can only cut so far into the metal before you have to start bending it just to reach. So these are great if you are, for example, cutting rough shapes (such as metal stamping blanks) but it is a struggle if you need to do something like cut a straight strip off a larger piece of metal.
