Aztec Eye (B7.JRG)
By Jeff R. Graham
81.8% Light Return
Angles for R.I. = 1.54
61 facets + 8 facets on girdle = 69
2-fold, mirror-image symmetry
L/W = 1.257 T/W = 0.398 T/L = 0.317
P/W = 0.536 C/W = 0.224
H/W = (P+C)/W+0.02 = 0.780
P/H = 0.687 C/H = 0.287
Vol./W^3 = 0.301
Addition # 5 - This is rather nice and it's not hard to cut. NOTE: C6 tier is a little confusing until you see it cut in. The only places it actually meets the girdle is at the corners. For the rest of the tier, just cut at the same mast height, and let them float. This works in almost any material R.I. 1.54 to 1.76 (88%) with no changes.
