Peridot (Olivine, Green, apple green to yellow green)

Target (PDOT7.JRG)

74% Light Return
Angles for R.I. = 1.67
57 facets + 8 facets on girdle = 65
4-fold, mirror-image symmetry
96 index
L/W = 1.000 T/W = 0.426 T/L = 0.426
P/W = 0.463 C/W = 0.216
H/W = (P+C)/W+0.02 = 0.699
P/H = 0.662 C/H = 0.310
Vol./W^3 = 0.248

Addition # 2 – This takes a little luck to do right the first time. The P5,P6 float in and point, the C3 floats also. Cut C2 & C3, then rough in the table, cut C4 to meet, you may have to fish them in, any material, 1-12cts. Cut in refractive indexes 1.67 to 2.14 (79.6%) with no changes.
