By Jeff R. Graham
93.6% Light Return
Angles for R.I. = 1.54
44 facets + 8 facets on girdle = 52
4-fold, mirror-image symmetry
L/W = 1.000 P/W = 0.450 C/W = 0.181
H/W = (P+C)/W+0.02 = 0.652
P/H = 0.691 C/H = 0.278
Vol./W^3 = 0.246
Addition # 9 - Note: The P3(G)girdle is variable, cut them to look like the diagram, or to fit your rough. Cut in refractive indexes 1.54 to 2.14 with no changes. This is quite pretty and works great in Garnet, I prefer medium saturation. I like this in medium saturated Amethyst and Citrine. Try some sets, they will sell fast. On a large stone a table can be cut to meet C6.
